SFO Museum Community Guidelines

The San Francisco International Airport Museum (SFO Museum) has developed the following community guidelines to foster a courteous and dynamic environment for all who utilize SFO Museum’s websites. These community guidelines establish norms and acceptable behavior, particularly around the creation of User Content which is defined as text, comments or images posted or uploaded to SFO Museum websites by an individual.

The following will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment, bullying, profanity, threatening language, attacks on or intimidation of any party, including any other online community members or SFO Museum staff, hate speech, or suggestion or encouragement of illegal activities;
  • User Content that is obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, sexually suggestive, including without limitation photos, videos or other User Content containing nudity;
  • User Content that may infringe or violate any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other intellectual or other proprietary right of any party; User Content that impersonates any person or entity or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity;
  • Unsolicited messages containing promotions, political campaigning, advertising or solicitations;
  • Posting or uploading of private information of any third party, including, without limitation: addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, social security numbers and credit card numbers;
  • Spam or fraudulent links;
  • Viruses, corrupted data or other harmful, disruptive or destructive files; and
  • User Content that is harmful or which restricts or inhibits any other person from using or enjoying the SFO Museum websites, or which may expose SFO Museum or its users to any harm or liability of any nature, or which is legally required to be deleted or made private.

SFO Museum applies these community guidelines to all SFO Museum websites, and reserves the right to remove any content posted which does not adhere to such guidelines. Additional consequences can include loss of certain account privileges or access to certain tools, or being removed and banned from SFO Museum websites altogether.

These guidelines supplement the SFO Museum Terms of Service.
